Because someone said Yes when they should have said No, and someone else paid the price.

Also, wow, I loved the backstory of the demon. I must agree with Dean here, she DESERVED to be punished. I don't like that in hell psychopaths can just give up without being tortured and be happy for the rest of their lives. I guess holding onto her for so long was also Dean's way to keep himself together in hell, of retaining a little of his humanity and not become completely evil hurting innocent people (although, well, he did it in the end, but we can't say he didn't try).
Still, the moment I realized Dean had been lost I wanted to smack him. It had been a couple of chapters since I wanted to do that, because they can't afford to be careless! And now even less with posibly an army of demons behind!
And Sammy, oh god, I can just imagine him freaking out when he saw Dean was missing and running the moment he smelled a demon (without thinking that demon would probably want *him* and not his brothers) without waiting for poor forgotten Castiel. And as usual, his being about to die is of no importance in his mind... just as he doesn't say how tired he's, he just goes on until his body shuts down. Somtimes I think the only thing keeping Sam alive and going is his stubborness (and his devotion for his brother).
Also, that scene of Dean nearly accepting Sam's powers made me happy. I'll always think that if he had been able to doing that back in Season 4 (though with some control), things would have been different then.
And now what? are they stranded? did Jena leave enough food and water for them? I don't trust her at all (and I'm sure her way of defeating Lucifer will involve dead Winchesters) but they depend on her. And with Sam sick (I can only guess the demon blood is running low now), Castiel nearly human and Dean making himself sick with stupid mistakes I don't think I like the prospect... really doesn't look good.
Loved it, as usual!
P.S: You told me yu're not going to join the sam/dean minibang this year, right?
P.P.S: Again, thank you *so* much for the req at spn_littlebro. I'm not really sure I deserve it but you're awesome (and I received a lot more readers!). Now I will only need another four months to have another idea...
We don't evne know if the people Dean hurt in hell were innocent. After all, I assume only a small percentage of the damned actually went there due to deals - but then, the show's not actually trying to convince us of anything else.
Sammy runs on stubbornness and love, just as he's always done. <3
Things would definitely have been different if Dean hadn't been so set against the use of powers. It's not like Sam didn't have a point.
I don't think I can join the minibang this year. I did join the gen-big-bang with a minibang, though, and am currently writing a story from Cas' pov from the beginning of the Great Blue World 'verse.
You definitely deserved that rec and I am very happy that it got more people to read your wonderful fic!
Thank you hon for sharing <3333
